American Staffordshire Terrier - Tango - Large - Adult - Male
Tango is a sweet, loving, gentle giant who loves to be by your side. He has excellent leash manners, and walks perfectly at your side. Tango will prance, and at times trot, right beside you. Always a smile on his face, he will wiggle his body while on a walk, and look up at you with the sweetest and most loving face and smile. This boy is a true gentleman that sits and waits patiently for his treats. He would also make a great jogging partner. Tango will shower you with kisses, and will give you his undivided attention and all his love and loyalty. This boy is an old soul, and he has had it rough. He was adopted from ARNO as a playful, fun loving puppy, but five years later he was found abandoned. His owner left him behind when she moved. He was very sick with heartworms, and his body was frail. Tango was sad. You could see betrayal, hurt, and a lack of understanding as to why things had been so hard for him. He was exhausted and broken. We were lucky to find him before it was too late. With a little bit of love and patience, the wonderful spirit of the young, loving pup that we knew came back. Tango would probably do best in a home with other dogs who are older, calm, and low energy. He can get lonely, so he would blossom in a home environment where there is always somebody there. Tango just wants to be by your side, go for a few walks, lay on the couch, held, and told he will be loved for the rest of his days. He has a huge heart, and a heart of gold.
