ADOPTABLE DOG FROM ARNO'S NO-KILL SHELTER: Sweetie now in foster: Sweetie is 70 pounds of love and happiness! She is a 4 year old shephard mix with a fast moving tail and beautiful eyes that just melt your heart. Sweetie was kept as a puppy in a shed with cats and dogs who bullied her constantly before being placed in the ARNO shelter. She has been in the shelter for 3 years before entering a foster home where she has blossomed into a wonderful family dog. Because of her history with cats and dogs, she needs to be an only (pet) child in her permanent home. Sweetie is especially loved in her foster home by Eli, who is 2 years old and loves to play with Sweetie and lay with her. Sweetie is a great garden assistant, keeping company while her foster mom tends to the vegetables. She loves to lay in bed and snuggle during movies, but doesn't mind sleeping in until 11am or noon on the weekends. She prefers long walks over the dog park, but LOVES to play ball in our backyard. Sometimes Sweetie forgets she is 70 pounds and tries to sit in your lab, but she always follows it up with a sweet kiss on your cheek. Sweetie is looking for a loving family with a strong Mom or Dad to take her for walks. This dog is perfect for an active, charismatic person, because this dog has a great personality!
